Workin’ On Our Fitness

We’re active girls – whether it’s on the job, on the town or on the treadmill.

Usually we’re “up in the gym just working on [our] fitness” (thanks Fergie) around three times a week to stay healthy and fit. Personally, I go to Planet Fitness near home, but here are some other alternatives in or around Detroit.

Where do you go to workout? Any other recommendations, like running Campus Martius or on the RiverFront?

We’re on a warpath to get fit before summer is in full swing, so share with us where you workout and any workout tips.

    I run with the Downtown Detroit Runners and Walkers. We meet every Tuesday night at a different bar downtown, run 4-6 miles then enjoy burgers and beers. The group has a huge range of abilities. I love that I get a tour of classic Detroit bars every week that I wouldn’t get if I didn’t get off my butt and run!
